Role Summary: Confirmis’ Media News Analyst supports the company’s media monitoring and news intelligence activities by identifying, tracking, and maintaining relevant news related to assigned subject companies and industries. This position is designed for final-year university students who can deliver consistent output in a remote working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and identify relevant news related to assigned companies and industries, including global developments, using approved media and research platforms.
Track on-going critical and relevant news for targeted companies, ensuring timely collection, categorization, and delivery to internal dashboards and clients.
Monitor and analyze developments in high-risk (red flag) countries/regions, providing strategic updates to support team decisions and client reporting.
Perform targeted desk research to provide context for identified news items where required.
Maintain an organized database of relevant news articles and supporting information, verifying accuracy, relevance, and completeness before reporting.
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure alignment on reporting timelines, content standards, and monitoring priorities.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Final-year university student in Journalism, Communications, Business, International Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
Strong interest in media monitoring, news research, and business-related topics.
Good research and information synthesis skills with strong attention to detail.
Familiar with online research tools and news aggregation platforms.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setup.
Strong proficiency in English.
Reliable computer hardware and a stable internet connection.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on ESG readiness, gap analysis, and certification roadmaps.
Apply ESG frameworks, including GRI, SASB, TCFD / IFRS S1 & S2, and UN SDGs.
Collect, review, and validate ESG data across environmental, social, and governance pillars.
Support on-site ESG verification, supplier audits, and field assessments.
Assist in the preparation of ESG reports, certification documentation, and assurance evidence.
Conduct ESG risk assessments and due diligence for clients and supply chains.
Manage ESG project timelines and client deliverables.
Work closely with Confirmis verification and regional teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Law, Engineering, or related fields.
3–5 years of ESG, sustainability, audit, assurance, or consulting experience.
Hands-on exposure to ESG certification, reporting, verification, or assurance projects.
Familiarity with Vietnam ESG regulations and local business practices.
Fieldwork / audit experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

. User Recruitment: o Actively identify and recruit 10 potential users to register successfully on the designated app per month.

o Engage with students, freelancers, and part-timers to encourage app registration and participation.

o Utilize personal networks to promote the app and onboard new site verifiers.

o Build and maintain strong relationships within the target audience to foster engagement.

2. Social Media Promotion:

o Leverage basic social media skills to promote the app and engage with the target audience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Registered site verifier or potential candidate outside the community.
Active and energetic, with a positive mindset.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong networking capabilities, particularly with students, freelancers, and part-timers.
Basic social media skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
